Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Christopher Grenke d/b/a Pattern Nexus collects, uses, discloses and retains information across the main site, accounts, Premium, Community, Trade, SIM and Macro Engine.
Information Collected
- Provided information: email, username, profile, hashed password, messages, comments, posts, direct messages, submissions, newsletter choices and book-shipping details.
- Authentication: account ID, login and reset events, sessions, security events, and verified email/provider ID received from Google or another login provider.
- Purchases: plan or product, price, currency, transaction/subscription ID, status, renewal, refund, chargeback and entitlement. PN ordinarily does not receive a complete card number processed entirely by PayPal or another hosted processor.
- Technical use: IP address, browser, device, approximate region, referrer, URLs, timestamps, consent choices, page interactions, cookies, local storage, server/error logs and abuse signals.
- Connected PN services: limited account IDs, roles, entitlements and authentication tokens needed for login handoff and access.
- Market tools: watchlists, interface preferences, alerts and scanner-use logs. Do not provide PN brokerage credentials.
Uses
PN uses information to operate and secure accounts; authenticate connected services; deliver purchased access; process, reconcile and support payments; manage renewals, cancellations, refunds and entitlements; fulfill book benefits; provide support and Community; send requested newsletters and necessary transaction/security messages; measure performance with required consent; prevent abuse; debug systems; enforce policies and comply with law.
Legal Bases
Where EEA/UK law applies, PN relies as appropriate on contract performance, legitimate operational/security interests, consent for optional cookies or marketing, and legal obligations.
Disclosures
Information may be provided as necessary to hosting and security providers, Cloudflare, PayPal or the active processor, Google or another selected login provider, email/newsletter vendors, consented analytics or advertising providers, CAPTCHA/security services, printers and carriers, licensed market-data providers, confidential contractors, legal authorities, or a legitimate business successor. PN does not provide account emails to advertisers and does not sell personal information for money.
Cookies and Marketing
Necessary technologies support sessions, security, consent and payments. Optional analytics/advertising technologies follow the Cookie Policy and applicable consent. Newsletter enrollment is voluntary and includes unsubscribe; a minimal suppression record may remain.
Retention
Account data is kept while active and for a limited closure period. Transaction, tax and dispute records may be kept up to seven years or longer when legally required. Shipping details are minimized after fulfillment unless needed for records/disputes. Logs follow configured operational periods. Community content is retained until deletion/moderation subject to backup and conversation integrity.
Security
PN uses reasonable safeguards including HTTPS, access control, hashed passwords and monitoring. No system is completely secure. Never send passwords, brokerage credentials or full card numbers to support.
Children
PN is not directed to children under 13. Paid services and PN Trade are limited to adults.
Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction; object; withdraw consent; or opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Email [email protected]. PN may reasonably verify identity and authorized-agent authority.
International Use and Updates
PN operates from the United States and providers may process information in other locations. Required safeguards will be used where applicable. Material changes receive appropriate notice or consent.
